1. What are the five food groups that need to be included in your meal planning?
The five food groups you need to eat are:
Protein, Grains, Fruits, Vegetables, Diary.
2. Give two examples of each of the five food groups that your family would eat. eg. dairy - cheese and milk
Protein= Chicken or laksa
Grains= whole corn bread, whole wheat pancakes
Fruits= strawberries, Mango, blueberries,Tomato
Vegetables= Olives, Spinach
Diary= Milk or Cheese
3. What dietary needs do you have to plan around for your family?
Nothing except I can't use apples because my dad doesn't like apples.
4. Who do you need to speak to in order to plan and prepare your family meal?
I will use the internet for help and maybe I will ask my mom also to give me some advise.
5. Where is the nearest grocery store? Who could take you / help you with shopping?
There is like this one mall near my house were I can walk to and there is also a grocery store so I can buy my stuff there.
6. What safety precautions will you need to remember while you are in the kitchen?
Be careful with a knife! Don't through anything on the flour! Make sure you are keeping your hands away from hot stuff! Just make sure you are safe while you are cooking!
