Well I am here to tell you that your body is very, very smart. There are various reasons that your body may be craving sugar, and they are not in your head! “Healthy eating includes eating at least five portions, and ideally 7-9 portions, of variety of fruit and vegetables each day. Fruits and Vegetables include fresh, frozen, tinned, or dried varieties, and fruit juice. On average, people who eat a lot of fruit and vegetables tend to be healthier and live longer.”
If you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables you will have a lower chance of getting heart diseases. You will also have a lower chance of getting any type of cancer like lung cancer and you will be able to keep your body in shape and prevent it to be obese. It is also good because it contains a lot of fiber which helps keep your bowels healthy and it also contains a lot of Vitamin C which is also good for your body and health. Having a low intake of fruits and vegetables is estimated to cause about 19% of cancers of the digestive system, 31% of heart diseases and 11% of stroke. There are a lot of vitamins and minerals which keep the body healthy.

You'll get these benefits for hours after your walk or workout.Just remember you don’t have to overdo it. Strenuous exercise can sometimes increase blood sugar temporarily after you stop exercising.  Very intense exercise can cause the body to make more stress hormones which can lead to an increase in blood sugar.

WHY IS SUGAR BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH!
Everyone knows eating too much sugar can lead to tooth decay, but few are aware of exactly how that happens. It's not the sugar itself that does the damage, but rather the chain of events that takes place after you eat that piece of cake. Your children may be more inclined to heed your warnings about the effects of sugar on teeth if they know about the continuous tug-of-war taking place inside their mouths. Here's how taking certain actions can prevent tooth decay from hijacking your family's oral health.
The enamel is the hard part outside of your teeth that protects your teeth, but it could get thinner and thinner and then bacteria go into the tooth to the inner layer and cause cavities. If it get even worse your teeth will rot and break of. As a sign your teeth will turn very yellow. Your teeth are frequently under attack by acids, but the good news is this damage is constantly being reversed. The one important part it saliva your saliva helps to fix the enamel back when it breaks or gets attacked by acids because it contains minerals such as calcium and phosphates. Fluoride is another mineral which helps repair your enamel. However, replacing lost minerals can only do so much to prevent the effects of sugar on teeth if you eat lots of sweets and starches throughout the day. If you stop eating sugar you will give your mouth a chance to fix your teeth without any acids trying to break the enamel.
Gaining a few pounds during the year may not seem like a big deal. But these pounds can add up over time. How can you tell if your weight could increase your chances of developing health problems? Knowing two numbers may help you understand your risk: your body mass index (BMI) score and your waist size in inches.
If you gain too much weight you could get Type two diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, cancer, sleep apnea, Osteoarthritis, fatty liver disease, kidney disease and if you are pregnant then also pregnancy problems. Another important number to know is your waist size in inches. Having too much fat around your waist may increase health risks even more than having fat in other parts of your body. Women with a waist size of more than 35 inches and men with a waist size of more than 40 inches may have higher chances of developing diseases related to obesity. Type 2 diabetes is a disease in which blood sugar levels are above normal. The reason why you get type 2 diabetes when you are fat is because your cells to change, making them resistant to the hormone insulin. Insulin is that what carries the sugar to the cells where it is then used for energy. If you are Insulin resistant blood sugar can’t be taken up by cells in addition the cells that produce insulin must work extra hard to try to keep blood sugar normal. This may cause these cells to gradually fail.
One study, using NCI Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) data, estimated that in 2007 in the United States, about 34,000 new cases of cancer in men (4 percent) and 50,500 in women (7 percent) were due to obesity. The percentage of cases attributed to obesity varied widely for different cancer types but was as high as 40 percent for some cancers, particularly endometrial cancer and esophageal adenocarcinoma.
The reason why obese people mostly get cancer is because they get a lot of insulin which may promote the development of certain tumors. Obese people often have chronic low-level, or “subacute,” inflammation, which has been associated with increased cancer risk. If you are overweight or obese it could increase the risk of getting breast cancer, but mostly that only affects women. Weight gain during adult life, most often from about age 18 to between the ages of 50 and 60, has been consistently associated with risk of breast cancer after menopause.

WHAT FOOD IS UNHEALTHY TO EAT!
Salad dressings fall under the same category for me as yogurt. I just can’t wrap my head around something that’s marketed as “healthy,” but in reality is so bad for you.
Salad dressing is very bad for your health because it has 70 calories and 12 grams of sugar in it which would be very bad for your body and your health condition. Before you buy any salad dressing check the labels to make sure there is no sugar in it. Let’s take Ken’s Fat Free Sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette dressing for example. The name says it’s fat free and it’s not a cream based dressing like Ranch or Caesar, so it’s must have some healthy attributes, right? If you count 2% of Vitamin A or Vitamin C as a “healthy attribute” then I can only slightly agree. But if you’re watching your sugar intake, this salad dressing is just terrible.
It’s exciting to see fast-food chains like Panera and McDonald’s attempting to offer healthy options like oatmeal on their menu. But is it really any good for you? On the surface, McDonald’s oatmeal is flavored with both fruit and maple syrup. It’s oatmeal so it seems healthy right? Unfortunately, it’s not. Yes, you could argue that the sugar comes from the apples, cranberries, and two types of raisins, but it doesn’t stop there.
That what McDonalds is doing to the oatmeal is they are adding two typed of sugar in it brown sugar and regular sugar, but what makes it even more sugary is when you mix the sugary fruits into it and then you are making something normally healthy into very bad for your health. McDonald’s oatmeal has all together 32 grams of sugar in it. I recommend you if you want to make oatmeal you should do one that you made yourself and didn’t buy it because if you buy it you won’t know what is in it, but if you make one yourself you will see what you put in it and all.
When it comes to eating dried fruit, you’re battling with more than just the high amount of sugar found naturally in the fruit. You’re dealing with the pre-treating and dehydrating processes zapping your fruit of the vital nutrients that made it healthy in the first place.
What they do is they squizz all the water that makes the fruits hydrated out and then it because dehydrated and when it becomes dehydrated it will lose it’s flavour and then you need to add a lot of sugar to the once was healthy food so you get back the taste. a snack of dried fruit could easily rack up to a full meal in sugar calories. Dried fruits are also one of the fruits like nuts because people tend to overeat and then they get obese.

Today you learned about How to avoid sugar, why is sugar bad, and what foods are unhealthy for your body! Did some information either surprised you or shock you? I hope I have changed your life with this presentation and proved you right that eating too much sugar is a VERY bad thing for you and your health and it is probably also for your future life.
